For your safety, Hotel Gaivota has implemented the following internal measures:

  • Mandatory use of personal protective equipment inside the Hotel facilities;
  • Maintain safe distances;
  • Body temperature control at the beginning of the workday;
  • Continuous training of employees;
  • Hand hygiene, cough etiquette, face masks and social conduct;
  • Cleaning protocols according to the guidelines specified by the National Health Authority, the guidelines of Turismo de Portugal (Clean & Safe measures) and The British Institute of Cleaning Science;
  • Hygiene and food safety protocols;
  • Supplier reception protocol.

We recommend to our customers:

  • Body temperature control at Check-in;
  • Recommendation to check your body temperature whenever you enter in the Hotel - please use the automatic equipment;
  • Hands disinfection at the hotel entrance, access to the elevators and breakfast room;
  • Mandatory use of a mask inside the hotel;
  • Express check-in - online pre-check-in;
  • Postpone the stay if you have symptoms compatible with COVID-19;
  • Postpone the stay if you have been in contact with a positive case of COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to arrival at the Hotel;
  • If the guest does not present a negative test to COVID-19 at the airport, we advise you to follow the guidelines of the Regional Health Authority, remaining in isolation inside your hotel room until receiving the test result.

Pets are not allowed in the Hotel.

Simple and straight forward. Choose your check in and check out dates in our website, select the number of guests and then follow the “Book Now” button.
Complete the booking form and you will be directed to a secure payment gateway. Your card will be charged by our card provider and you will receive an email with your booking confirmation.

Smoking is not allowed in all Hotel areas (balconies included).

We have free WiFi throughout the hotel.

Yes. Between 22h00 (10 pm) and  08h00 (8 am)

The Hotel does not have a private park. However, we have a partnership with the underground park right in front of the Hotel. (associated costs and subject to availability)

Nov to Feb: Free cancellation up to 2 days before check-in. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of entry, subject to payment of 100% of the reservation.

Mar to May and Oct: Free cancellation up to 8 days before check-in. Cancellation 7 days before arrival or after that day, subject to payment of 100% of the reservation.

Jun to Set: Free cancellation up to 15 days before check-in. Cancellation 14 days before arrival or after that day, subject to payment of 100% of the reservation.

No-shows and cancellations: on the day of arrival, subject to full payment for the stay.

Any monies due to you will be refunded less charges incurred processing your booking and refund.

Yes. The Hotel has a free luggage storage service.

Yes, as long as it does not disturb other guests and inform the front desk team.

Yes, a document is required from all guests (children included).

You will need to pay for your entire stay at the time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express. All amounts are charged in EUR€ (Euros).

It depends on the type of accommodation chosen. For more information, consult the different accommodation types on our website.

As long as you want. However, we can offer special rates for longer stays.

Check-in is from 15h (3pm). Early check-in is subject to availability and has extra costs.

Check-out is until 11:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and extra costs.
